About

TIN MAN FALLS is a Vienna-based, indie electronic project by singer Joseph Robinson, in collaboration with producer Felipe Scolfaro Crema and multi-instrumentalist and live visual artist Edo Mjusik.  Drawing inspiration from the Electropop hits of the 80s and 90s, Tin Man Falls blends chill grooves and memorable hooks into tracks with a pop sensibility. 

Influenced by artists like James Blake, Justin Timberlake and Chet Faker, TMF’s music explores the intersection of meaning and pop. Composed of three foreigners who found each other in Austria, the group’s music explores themes of loss, acceptance and the struggle to step into your power. 

With the support of the Österreiches Musikfond, they released their debut album through Singodd Records in November 2022 to positive reviews from Backseat Mafia, Notion and Clash Magazine. The album is a reflection on the experiences of loss, letting go and stepping into your power that return again and again on the journey toward finding yourself and your place in the world.

Four of the album’s five singles were also placed on Spotify’s editorial playlists, including Off Pop, GSA Fresh Finds, Fresh Finds, Best of Fresh Finds GSA 2022, Indie Brandneu and Alternative Austria. In Austria, Radio FM4 featured the project and it’s first single, Black to Grey, as well as reviewing the album on FM4 Soundpark.
